Missouri S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing recently held its fall 2025 awards ceremony, and several staff and faculty members were presented with honors.
Staff awards recognize exceptional performance among departmental staff. This year’s winners include:
The Dean’s Educator Award highlights teaching excellence. This year’s award went to five professors, including:
The Dean’s Scholar Award, which highlights scholarly excellence, went to Dr. Taghi Sherizadeh, associate professor of mining and explosives engineering.
The Dean’s Service Award, which highlights exceptional professional service, went Dr. Jenny Liu, the James A. Heidman Professor in Civil Engineering.
