Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s bringing a party. The Campus Performing Arts Series at Missouri University of Science and Technology is ringing in the holiday season with “Who Brought the Humbug?” at Leach Theatre this December, presented by Phelps Health.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located on the Missouri S&T campus at 10th and Main streets in Rolla. Tickets are $35 for the general public, $30 for Missouri S&T faculty and staff, and $10 for youth under age 18 and Missouri S&T students.
“Who Brought the Humbug?” takes place at an ugly sweater party where all the guests are talented singers, tap dancers and musicians. The horn band plays swinging holiday mashups while the party guests show off their dancing skills, from tap to hip-hop. The party comes to a hilarious halt when two singers-turned-investigators try to answer the question, who brought the humbug? The show is an all-age, all-inclusive, family-friendly, feel-good celebration of the holiday season.
Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office, located inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu/tickets or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online or by phone.
