Rolla will get a taste of contemporary Celtic music and dance this October when “A Taste of Ireland” takes the Leach Theatre stage.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at 10th and State streets on the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus. Ticket prices start at $45.

“A Taste of Ireland” transports the audience through the country’s tumultuous history using storytelling and song, presented by a cast of champion Irish dancers. The show merges cultural traditions with modern flair, and uses modern Irish dance, tap and contemporary dance to tell the story of Ireland. The score features melodic folk mash-ups and revamped classics like “Danny Boy,” “Tell Me Ma,” “Wild Rover,” and more.

Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office, located inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
