Rolla Town Band to perform free concerts

The Rolla Town Band kicks off their summer concert series with Rolla’s Make Music Day concert at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, June 21, at the Downtown Band Shell in Rolla. The 399th Army Band Rough Riders will also perform at the concert.

The Rolla Town Band will have three more concerts on the following three Thursdays: June 27, July 4 and July 13, all beginning at 7:30 p.m. These concerts will be outdoors on the Castleman Hall Green, located at the corner of 10th and State streets on the Missouri S&T campus.

Each concert will include a variety of music, from traditional marches to music from film and TV. The June 27 concert will feature guest performers from the 135th Army Band. The July 4 concert will feature patriotic pieces.
