Missouri University of Science and Technology has selected a new vice chancellor for student success.
Dr. Robin Gore, vice president for student affairs at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania, will join Missouri S&T on Monday, July 22. The new position will integrate S&T’s undergraduate education and student affairs programs.
Missouri S&T conducted a national search for the position, and Chancellor Mo Dehghani says campus leaders are pleased with her selection.
“It is exciting to have Dr. Robin Gore join the Missouri S&T family,” Dehghani says. “Robin is a collaborative and visionary student success leader with a robust range and depth of experience. With her guidance, we can continue to foster an environment for S&T students where academic and personal development go hand in hand.”
Programs within S&T’s Division of Student Success will include academic advising, athletics and recreation, career opportunities and employer relations, the Cornerstone Peers scholarship and support program, experiential learning, residential life, student accessibility and testing, student health services and student well-being.
“I am thrilled to be joining this esteemed institution, where I will contribute to furthering the university’s mission by enhancing collaborative partnerships for holistic student support,” she says. “As a champion for the Missouri S&T student community, I will provide strategic direction and administrative oversight to initiatives that promote student development, belonging, wellness, community engagement, and academic support. The focus on science and technology in addressing the world’s great challenges creates an energizing and ambitious environment that I am excited to be a part of. This university feels like home to me, and I look forward to becoming an active member of both the University community and Rolla.”
In her current position as vice president for student affairs at Mount Aloysius College since April 2022, Gore oversees 11 departments that encompass student affairs and Title IX operations for the college.

Her experience also includes roles in residential life at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a STEM-focused campus and one of 13 universities in the state’s system. She has been a member of NASPA since 2010.
