Missouri S&T’s Campus Performing Arts Series continues with genre-defying trio TAKE3, bringing a fusion of classical and modern music to the Leach Theatre stage this March.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 8, in Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, located on the Missouri S&T campus at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for youth under age 18, and $15 for Missouri S&T students with a valid ID.
TAKE3 was created by Lindsay Deutsch, a violinist and vocalist who has toured the world as Yanni’s featured violin soloist. The trio of musicians use their classical training to reinterpret pop songs and movie soundtracks, as well as bringing modern energy to works by composers like Bach and Beethoven. This performance is funded in part by the Maxwell C. Weiner Endowment, and sponsored by Alpha Media and Bob and Susan Hooper.
Tickets can be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online or by phone. Tickets can also be purchased in person in the office of Student Involvement in room 218 of the Havener Center, located on the Missouri S&T campus at 1246 N. Bishop Avenue.
