Even though courses at Missouri University of Science and Technology are being held online this summer due to coronavirus concerns, enrollment for the summer session has grown considerably over last year.
At the close of summer session registration today (Monday, June 8), 2,217 students are enrolled at S&T. That is an increase of approximately 30% over the 2019 summer session enrollment, according to Missouri S&T registrar Deanne Jackson. The summer 2019 enrollment was 1,716.
Missouri S&T offers four summer learning sessions. An eight-week session and the first of three four-week sessions began today, Monday, June 8. A second four-week online session will begin on Monday, July 6.
A special late-summer session to be held July 20-Aug. 14 will offer an opportunity for in-person courses if conditions allow for a return to campus. Information about the return to campus is available online at coronavirus.mst.edu.
