The Aquila Theatre Company will perform Mary Shelley’s two-century-old classic tale Frankenstein at Leach Theatre as a part of the 2018-19 Campus Performing Arts Series at Missouri S&T.
The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla.
Frankenstein provokes ethical questions about scientific discovery and the nature of innovation. In the play, Victor Frankenstein is a scientist trying to create artificial human life. After succeeding, his monstrous creation wanders the world alone. Horrific events begin to unfold, and the monster eventually returns to confront his maker.
Tickets are $42 for the general public and $37 for student and youths. Tickets can be purchased through the Leach Theatre Box Office, located in the vestibule inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street.
