Wayne Hoffman, an award-winning mentalist and illusionist, will present a seemingly supernatural show that involves human behavior, body language and visual magic this February on the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus.

The performance will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla.

Hoffman was recently featured on the NBC series “America’s Got Talent,” and has been featured on “TODAY” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on NBC, and “Oddities” on the Science Channel. His combination of psychology and up-beat magic makes him a recognized presenter and speaker in his field. Hoffman has authored a best-selling book titled “Mind Candy,” which is also the title of his stage show. The show includes audience participation with mind reading, future prediction and comedy.

Tickets are $20 for the general public and free for Missouri S&T students with a current S&T ID. Tickets can be purchased through the Leach Theatre Box Office, located in the vestibule inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. The Leach Theatre Box Office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu.
