The area community is invited to attend an artist reception to view a collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures created by Missouri S&T students.
The 2018 Art in the Library reception will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library on the S&T campus. The event will allow visitors to learn more about the various artists’ inspirations behind their pieces. The 33 pieces of art have been on display since Monday, Sept. 24, and will remain up until Friday, Nov. 23.
Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, People’s Choice and Honorable Mention, and judging will be conducted by members of the Art in the Library Committee.
