Rolla Town Band to perform July 5

The Rolla Town Band will perform its third concert of the summer this July in honor of the United States’ Independence Day and the country’s veterans.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Veterans Memorial Park, located on Southview Drive, south of Highway 72 in Rolla. The performance will include a series of marches, pops music and traditional band music. All Rolla Town Band concerts are free and open to the public.
Organizations and individuals interested in helping sponsor the Rolla Town Band this summer are encouraged to contact Dr. David Samson, the band’s conductor and assistant professor of music at Missouri University of Science and Technology, at samsondw@mst.edu.
