Missouri University of Science and Technology will welcome Theatre Latté Da’s production of “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” this month as a part of the 2017-18 Campus Performing Arts Series.
The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall located at 10th and Main streets in Rolla.
“All is Calm: The Christmas truce of 1914” tells the story of the Western Front at the height of World War I when one man, a German solider, stepped into “No Man’s Land,” the uninhabitable space between two trenches, and began to sing. “Stille Nacht” rang out and for one night, Christmas Eve 1914, peace was found. “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” tells the story in the words and songs of the men who lived it.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $35 for youth and Missouri S&T students with valid ID. Tickets cans be purchased through the Leach Theatre Box Office located in the vestibule inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall facing 10th Street.
