Missouri University of Science and Technology will host town hall event on Thursday, Sept. 14, to present results of a campus climate survey that was completed by Rankin & Associates during the fall 2016 semester. The town hall will be held 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom B of the Havener Center on the Missouri S&T campus. A media availability will follow the presentation at 1-1:30 p.m.
Each University of Missouri System campus, as well as the UM System, will hold similar events this week to present results of the survey, which was administered at all four UM System campuses. Representatives from Rankin & Associates, which conducted the survey in fall 2016, will be on hand to present the results along with Missouri S&T leaders.
The presentation will be available for livestream at climatesurvey.mst.edu. Slides from the presentation, as well as an executive summary of the report will be posted on climatesurvey.mst.edu following the presentation. Missouri S&T plans to post the full campus climate survey report at climatesurvey.mst.edu on Monday, Sept. 18.
The campus climate surveys assessed the learning, living and working environments at the UM System and on each of the campuses. The findings will be used to inform institutional policies and practices to help create an inclusive environment that values the background, experiences, perspectives and thoughts of each individual.
