Dr. David Robertson, Curators’ Teaching Professor of political science at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), will present a talk on the politics of climate change at Missouri University of Science and Technology this month.

The presentation will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center on the Missouri S&T campus.

Robertson, who has been a faculty member at UMSL for 32 years, will discuss the role of public opinion and political disagreement on climate change policy. He will also discuss cap-and-trade systems and presidential actions as solutions for mitigating carbon emissions.

Robertson’s presentation is hosted by Missouri S&T’s department of history and political science and the Environmental Research Center (ERC).
