The Psi Nu chapter of the Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honor Society at Missouri University of Science and Technology will host a trivia night to help support the Missouri S&T theatre program and its upcoming performance of “Hound of the Baskervilles” this fall.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The trivia contest is open to the public. Early registration for teams of up to eight people is $80 and is recommended. Registration the night of the event is $96.
Teams will get the chance to see the view from an actor’s perspective as they sit at tables on the stage of Leach Theatre. Participants may bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the event.
There will be 10 rounds of trivia and “mulligans” will be available for purchase. Various prize baskets will be raffled during the night, with tickets available during the trivia rounds. The night will also include a table-decorating competition, with each team allowed bring its own props and decorations for a chance to win the “Best Table Design” prize.
Alpha Psi Omega is an honor society for participants in collegiate theater programs. The society works to help theaters thrive and help members of the theater achieve their personal goals within the arts. Membership is open to students who actively participate in theater at four-year institutions.
