Everyone’s favorite singing vegetables are coming to Rolla. “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie,” the final film in the 2013-2014 Leach Theatre Family Film Series, is showing at Missouri University of Science and Technology in February.

The film begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in Leach Theatre, located in Missouri S&T’s Castleman Hall at 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo. Tickets are $3 and will be available for purchase at the Leach Theatre Box Office at 10 a.m. the day of the show.

The film, released in 2008 by Universal Animation Studios, follows three lazy Veggies who dream of putting on a show about pirates. Just when it seems their dream may not come true, they find an artifact that sends them back to the 17th century where they become real pirates on a quest to save a royal family.

Lunch, including a main dish, side and drink, will be available for purchase for $3 in the lobby of Leach Theatre after the film. A special craft project will be available for $1. Other crafts and coloring sheets will be available for free.
