Dr. Oyebanjo A. Lajubutu, assistant vice president for institutional research and effectiveness at American University of Nigeria, will join Missouri University of Science and Technology as director of institutional research and assessment on March 3.
“Dr. Lajubutu is an experienced institutional research specialist who has led institutional research programs at two other universities as well as the University of Maryland System. The office is also responsible for gathering and analyzing data to inform campus decision-making and planning.

Previously, he served as director of institutional research at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Md., from July 2005 through February 2012, and as director of institutional research for the University of Maryland System from November 2001 through July 2005. He also held institutional research positions at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Md., and Louisiana State University in Alexandria, La.
He is a member of the Association for Institutional Research and previously was a member of the Maryland Association for Institutional Research, America Education Research Association and the Society of Colleges and Universities Planning.
