Parents and family of Missouri University of Science and Technology students are invited to visit the campus and learn more about the university during Missouri S&T’s Homecoming of Heroic Proportions celebration Oct. 18-19 in Rolla.

A special Parents Reception will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in St. Pat’s Ballrooms A and B of the Havener Center to honor the support that Super Miner parents give their students.

Parents will learn about the services available to promote the academic and professional success of S&T students, and about the latest campus events. A question-and-answer session will follow.

A light continental breakfast will be provided at the reception. The reception will feature a short presentation on parent and family advocacy and updates and information on important issues pertaining to the campus. Representatives from key departments will be on hand to answer questions from the audience.
