Community invited to S&T Super Miner 5K on Oct. 19

The community is invited to participate in a 5K run/walk through the Missouri University of Science and Technology campus on Oct. 19 to help celebrate Homecoming at Missouri S&T.The Super Miner 5K will begin at 9 a.m. at Allgood-Bailey Track on 10th Street in Rolla. Registration is $20 for the public and $15 for students in kindergarten through college. Children age 6 and younger are free.
To register for the 5K, visit split-secondtiming.com/upcoming-event, locate the Super Miner 5K and click on Online Registration. Registrations will also be accepted the day of the race from 8:15-8:45 a.m.
This year’s Homecoming theme is League of Super Miners. Numerous other activities are planned for Homecoming weekend, Oct. 18-19. Many are open to the public.
