Public radio station KMST will celebrate its 40th anniversary at Missouri University of Science and Technology this year. The station is holding a 40th Anniversary Logo Design Contest to illustrate the theme “KMST — your friend turning 40.” The submission deadline is June 30 and the contest is open to everyone.
The winning logo will be used to publicize a celebration that will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Leach Theatre on the Missouri S&T campus, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. More information about the event will be released at a later date.
The logo design contest winner will receive a Day Sponsorship on KMST (a $120 value), along with recognition and visibility on posters, T-shirts and banners.
Entries may be submitted in person to KMST in Room G-6 Curtis Laws Wilson Library, 400 W. 14th St., in Rolla, or emailed to email@example.com. Additional contest information is available on the station’s website call KC Frahm at 573-341-4386.
KMST is a 100,000-watt non-commercial public radio station licensed to the Curators of the University of Missouri System. The station’s funding comes from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Missouri S&T, membership investments and underwriting.
