Joe Miner says, post your commencement tweets, status updates and photos with the hashtag #GoMiners2013

Graduating from Missouri S&T this weekend? Share your favorite moments, in words and photos, with the rest of the Missouri S&T family via social media.

New graduates and their family members and friends who use the social networks Twitter and Instagram are encouraged to share photos and tweets of their Missouri S&T commencement experience. Please tag any commencement-related tweets and Instagram photos with the hashtag #GoMiners2013. Students using Facebook may also use that tag for photos and status updates.

Missouri S&T will share select tweets and photos tagged with #GoMiners2013 on the campus’s official Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts. (Update: Selected posts have been collected into a Storify post called A social Spring Commencement.)

Missouri S&T will hold two commencement ceremonies this weekend at Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building.

Commencement will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 17, for all graduate students and non-engineering undergraduates, and at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, for all engineering undergraduates.

Video of both ceremonies will be available for live viewing online. More information on live-streaming of the ceremonies is available from the registrar’s website.
