3rd grader wins ‘Celebration’ tee contest

Olivia Sidwell, a third-grader at Mark Twain Elementary in Rolla, was this year’s winner of the Celebration of Nations T-shirt Contest. She received a $200 gift card that was donated by the Missouri S&T Bookstore. T-shirts with her design will be available for purchase at the event.

This year’s Celebration of Nations will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29. The annual event was created in 2010 to bring area residents and Missouri University of Science and Technology students together to share their heritage and celebrate the area’s cultural diversity.
