A memorial service is planned to honor four Missouri University of Science and Technology students from India who were killed in a May 8 automobile accident.

The memorial service for Srupen Reddy Velumula, Sri Harsha Chitturi, Srikanth Ravi, and Dheeraj Gudlawar will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Monday, May 16, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B of the Havener Center on the Missouri S&T campus. Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to attend.

Attendees will have an opportunity to offer a few words during the service and are invited to share written reflection and condolences in memorial booklets that will be available before and after the service. These booklets will be given to the students’ families.

Plans are currently under way to establish a memorial fund in honor of the students. More information will be available soon.
