Missouri University of Science and Technology’s public radio station KMST will hold its annual membership picnic from 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Lions Club Park on U.S. Highway 63 South in Rolla.
KMST will supply pulled pork and sausage provided by Swiss Meat and Sausage Co. in Hermann, Mo., and fried chicken from Lee’s Famous Fried Chicken in Rolla. Family and friends are asked to bring a covered dish, salad or dessert. Beverages will be provided by Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Rolla.
Party Professionals will provide two blow-up bounce rooms with slides for the station’s younger friends.
KMST’s 2010 Volunteer of the Year is Suzanne Paule from Phelps County Regional Medical Center. Paule will be honored at the event for her years of service as host and producer of “Apple A Day,” part-time host and producer for “Lifeskills,” as well as for contributing feature stories.

The picnic is sponsored by Fairground Auto Plaza, Phelps County Bank and Phelps County Regional Medical Center. KMST does not use any membership dollars to fund the picnic.
