140 years of history in under 4 minutes

Missouri S&T’s freshman class watched the debut showing of a new, four-minute video about the university’s 140-year history during convocation Monday, Aug. 17, 2009.
It’s Your Turn was created to help incoming students better understand the university’s history and traditions. Commissioned by the Miner Alumni Association, it was created by members of the Missouri S&T communications staff in consultation with the alumni association, the the vice chancellor for university advancement office and the office of new student programs.
Tom Shipley, manager of video productions for Missouri S&T, produced the video (watch it below).
