The history and political science department at Missouri University of
Science and Technology is sponsoring a Constitution Day celebration
from 3-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the
Havener Center on campus.
Sept. 17 was designated as Constitution Day by the United States Congress to commemorate the Constitution’s signing on Sept. 17, 1787.

This year’s theme is “The American Constitution: A Timeless Verse of Governance.” Activities will include an honor guard march of the Colors flag ceremony, brief presentations on the meaning of the Constitution and a presentation by Dr. Wayne Bledsoe, professor emeritus of history and political science.

For more information about Missouri S&T’s Constitution Day activities, contact Dr. Tseggai Isaac, associate professor of history and political science at Missouri S&T, at tseggai@mst.edu.
