March 9 is International Students Day at Missouri S&T

Missouri University of Science and Technology will celebrate diversity on
Sunday, March 9, during International Students Day, sponsored by the Missouri
S&T International Students Club.

Cultural artifacts from China, India, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Ethiopia,
Nepal, Cuba, Brazil, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Russia and Malaysia will be on display
in the Havener Center on the Missouri S&T campus from 10 a.m. to 1:30
p.m.

A 10-course international dinner buffet is planned from noon to 2 p.m. The
cost of the buffet is $6 for students in advance and $7 at the door and $10 for
the public. Children under 10 eat free, and student meal plans will be
accepted. Tickets are available at the Havener Center until March 8 and at the
door the day of the event.

The Havener Center also will be the site of a cultural show from 2 to 4:30
p.m. Several performances are planned, including a step show, fashion show and
a belly dance.
