Theatre program to hold auditions Feb. 16-17

The Missouri University of Science and Technology theatre program will hold
auditions for an old-time melodrama the weekend of Feb. 16 and 17.
Auditions will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, and from 6 to 8
p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. All auditions will be at Missouri S&T’s Leach Theatre
in Castleman Hall.
The melodrama is a joyful, campy musical comedy like the ones once done on
showboats steaming down the Mississippi River 100 years ago.
There are parts available for actors, singers and dancers of all ages. No
advanced preparation is necessary for the auditions, but those who have a song
they would like to sing are encouraged to bring sheet music.
