Tickets are now on sale for a performance of the feverish fiddler Natalie
MacMaster. MacMaster is the second performance of the spring 2008 season of the
Missouri University of Science and Technology Campus Performing Arts
Series.
The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in Leach
Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets. Admission is $28 for adults
and $18 for youth. As always, free tickets are available to Missouri S&T
students.
MacMaster is well known to international audiences for taking Celtic music
to new heights and is one of the most versatile and exciting young musicians on
the Folk music and Celtic music scenes. Her many projects have included
collaborations with Alison Krauss, the Chieftains, Paul Simon and Pavarotti.
MacMaster stuns audiences with both traditional and contemporary Celtic
melodies.
