The University of Missouri-Rolla will hold its annual Family Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 29. Parents and other family members of UMR students, as well as guests, are invited to participate in the activities.

Registration with a continental breakfast will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Havener Center Atrium, hosted by UMR Chancellor John F. Carney III. The UMR Open House and campus tours will begin at 9 a.m., and the UMR Parents’ Association will hold its annual meeting at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom in the Havener Center.

The UMR Miners football game against Arkansas-Monticello will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Allgood-Bailey Stadium and will include a fireworks display during halftime. Attendees are also invited to take advantage of the many local dining establishments, as well as activities held throughout the day by UMR student organizations. The UMR bookstore will also be open.
