Weise to speak at UMR convocation

Theodore “Ted” Weise, former president and chief executive officer of Federal Express Corp., will give the keynote address at the 2007 New Student Convocation at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, in the Student Rec Center on the UMR campus.

Weise, a 1967 electrical engineering graduate of UMR, will welcome more than 1,050 new students to campus. Faculty, staff, students and community are invited to attend.
