UMR‘s Voice of Inspiration, Student Council to sponsor gospel event

The University of Missouri-Rolla’s Voices of Inspiration choir and Student Council are co-sponsoring the “War Cry” gospel event at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Christian Life Center located at 305 E. First Street in Rolla.
The event will feature God’s Chosen, a St. Louis group that includes Zebrina Anderson, Sarah Stephens and Nikiesha Whittier. Other special guests will include Jonathan Jefferson, the Alpha Omega Theta Christian fraternity, Friends of the King, the Alpha Theta Omega Christian sorority and Voicebox.
“Please join us as we send up praises to the Lord through step, spoken word, dance and song,” says Megan T. Williams. “Afterwards, come fellowship with us from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at our Victory After Party at the Southwestern Bell Cultural Center, located at 1207 Elm Street.”
