Chancellor Carney issues statement on Virginia Tech tragedy

UMR Chancellor John F. Carney III has issued the following expression of sympathy for the families and loved ones of the Virginia Tech shooting victims.
“The UMR family is deeply saddened by the tragic event that took place on the Virginia Tech campus on Monday,” Carney said. “We extend our sympathy and prayers to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the students, faculty, staff and alumni as they cope with this tragedy and begin to rebuild.”
