Faculty members from the University of Missouri-Rolla will introduce the public to the university’s new master of business administration degree program during a preview event scheduled for Oct. 4.
Anyone interested in the MBA program is invited to stop by the Havener Center on campus between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Brief presentations will be given throughout the evening and informational packets will be provided. MBA faculty members will also be available to answer questions.
The MBA degree program at UMR officially starts in January of 2007, when the first classes will be offered. The program has been uniquely designed to provide graduate-level instruction in business and technology. The program has also been designed to allow for completion of the MBA degree in one calendar year.
Graduate students enrolled in the program will create high-tech business plans, compete in business simulations, and have opportunities to intern with Fortune 500 companies.
The campus community and the general public are invited to attend UMR’s MBA preview event. For more information, contact the program’s director, Brenda Bouse, at 573-341-6864 or bouseb@mst.edu.
