The Rolla Town Band, directed by Dr. Donald Miller, assistant professor of music at the University of Missouri-Rolla, will hold several free concerts this July.

The band’s concert schedule includes performances on Thursday, July 6; Tuesday, July 11; Friday, July 14; Thursday, July 20; Tuesday, July 25; and Monday, July 31. Concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the UMR Castleman Hall Greens, located at 10th and State streets in Rolla, with the exception of the band’s performance on Friday, July 14, which will be held at Ber Juan Park in Rolla.

“Remember your lawn chairs or blankets when you come to enjoy a musical evening of our local talent at this year’s Rolla Town Band concerts,” Miller says. “The band has been practicing two nights a week in preparation for July’s performances.”
