Candidates for 2006 St. Pat’s Queen have been announced at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
The candidates are nominated by student organizations at UMR. Members of the St. Pat’s Celebration Committee, the group of students that organizes and supervises St. Pat’s activities, will elect a queen after a series of interviews.
Coronation ceremonies will be held at 9 p.m. Friday, March 17, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall on the UMR campus.
The queen, her court and the candidates will have places of honor on the queen’s float during the St. Pat’s Parade to be held in downtown Rolla on Saturday, March 18.
The 2006 queen candidates are:

Ballwin – Alexandra Goodson, a junior in engineering management, representing Omega Sigma.
Bismark – Liz Politte, a sophomore in chemistry and biology, representing Panhellenic Council.
Columbia – Melissa Malone, a senior in ceramic engineering, representing Beta Sigma Psi.
