Public radio station KUMR at the University of Missouri-Rolla invites listeners to tune in to the station this month for two programs featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
“Remembering Them,” to air at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, will feature the choir and the U.S. Air Force Reserve Band, conducted by Capt. Chad Steffey. The program’s musical selections will include “God of Our Fathers, Whose Almighty Hand” and “Dirge for Two Veterans.”
“Thanksgiving,” a celebration of the holiday in song by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra, will air at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24. The program’s musical selections will include “For the Beauty of the Earth,” “Come Ye Thankful People Come” and “Prayer of Thanksgiving.”
