The Jacques Thibaud Trio will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Peaceful Bend Vineyard, located at 1942 Highway T in Steelville, Mo. The performance is co-sponsored by the arts, languages, and philosophy department at the University of Missouri-Rolla and Arts Rolla.

Tickets at $30 per person and include a complimentary CD copy of the evening’s recording.

Violinist Burkhard Maiss, violist Philip Douvier, and cellist Uwe Hirth-Schmidt, from Berlin, Germany, met at the Berlin School of Art and formed the trio in 1994. Since then, the group has received tremendous acclaim from audiences and critics in Europe, Japan and North America.
