U.S. News ranks UMR among top engineering schools, No. 52 public university

U.S. News and World Report has again ranked the University of Missouri-Rolla as one of the nation’s top engineering schools in the magazine’s annual guidebook, America’s Best Colleges 2006, which hits newsstands next week. UMR ranks No. 52 among the nation’s top doctoral-granting public universities.
The guidebook includes UMR in its listing of best engineering programs at doctoral-granting universities. UMR is tied for 51st on that list and tied for 28th place among public doctoral-granting universities.
