Honorary St. Patrick Jerry Bayless of Rolla will assist in the induction of eight Honorary Knights of St. Patrick during coronation ceremonies at 9 p.m. March 18 in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall on the University of Missouri-Rolla campus.

The ceremonies are part of UMR’s annual St. Pat’s Celebration, which runs from March 14-19.

Bayless is associate dean of engineering for undergraduate affairs at UMR.

The Honorary Knights are: Dr. Terry Bone, a member of the UMR chemistry department faculty since 1991; Kevin Brady, manager of business and fiscal operations for UMR student affairs; Meg Brady, a staff member in UMR’s information technology department since 1983; Ed Emery, a UMR graduate and current member of the Missouri House of Representatives; Jim Guest, a UMR graduate and current member of the Missouri House of Representatives; Larry Hendren, president of the MSM-UMR Alumni Association and president and chief executive officer of Engineering Surveys and Services in Columbia, Mo.; Dr. Wayne Huebner, a UMR graduate and current vice provost for research and sponsored programs at UMR; and Lucy Sutcliffe, development manager and business liaison for the Phelps County Community Partnership.
