The test will include a text message to students and employees saying, “This is a test of the Missouri S&T emergency mass notification system. This is only a test.” The test will also include voice and email alerts.

UMR air whistle test update

Due to a lack of air volume, UMR’s campus air whistle failed to produce enough sound to be heard across campus during its Friday, July 6, test. There was enough air pressure, but not enough air volume reaching the whistle to allow it to reach its full sound potential, physical facilities officials say.
