Missouri S&T theater students to premiere new musical

Students from Missouri S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will premiere “Cascade’s Fire,” a new musical written by S&T faculty, this October. The book and lyrics for the musical are written by Taylor Gruenloh, assistant professor of theatre, with music by Dr. Kyle Wernke, assistant professor of music.

‘On a Miner Note: Musical Miners and Missouri Sounds’ to open at Missouri S&T Oct. 3

The Curtis Laws Wilson Library at Missouri S&T will host an exhibition about local musical history during October. “On a Miner Note: Musical Miners and Missouri Sounds” opens with a public reception 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, featuring a presentation by State Historical Society of Missouri archivist Haley Frizzle-Green on the history of Springfield-based broadcasting company RadiOzark. Light refreshments will be served.

Missouri S&T releases official fall enrollment numbers

Missouri S&T to break ground on Protoplex, celebrate Manufacturing Day

Missouri University of Science and Technology will kick off its celebration of Manufacturing Day with a groundbreaking ceremony for the Missouri Protoplex at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5.
