S&T freshmen get career insight, even before classes begin

When more than 1,100 freshmen flood the campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology on Saturday, Aug. 11, landing a job after graduation won’t be their main concern — meeting roommates and scheduling their classes will be the priority. But university officials know that the sooner students are introduced to the companies that will need them in a few years, the better prepared they will be for the future.

Harvest Collier to retire from S&T

Dr. Harvest Collier, vice provost for undergraduate studies at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has announced his retirement effective Sept. 1 following 30 years of service to the university. Dr. Larry Gragg, Curators’ Teaching Professor and chair of history and political science, will serve as interim while a search is conducted for a permanent successor.

Public invited to ceremony at latest site for solar house construction
