‘Lost boys of Sudan’ to speak at S&T on Wednesday

Three former “lost boys of Sudan” and their American mentor will speak at Missouri S&T at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Student Recreation Center of Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building, 705 W. 10th St. in Rolla. The lecture is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Missouri S&T orchestras to perform Oct. 19

The Missouri S&T and Community Symphony Orchestra and the Missouri S&T Chamber Orchestra will perform their first concert of the season at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy.

“Marcus is Walking” to be presented by Missouri S&T students

Missouri S&T’s Miner League Theatre Players will present “Marcus is Walking” this weekend in the Blackbox Theatre of Castleman Hall. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, and at 4:45 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, in Room 143 Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo. Admission is $5 for general seating and tickets are available in the performing arts office in Room 127 Castleman Hall. Seating is limited.
