Google supermodel(ers) put campus on the map

A team of Missouri S&T students, working with the campus’s physical facilities department, is one of nine university teams from five different countries to win Google’s 2008 International Model Your Campus Competition. The competition required teams to create 3-D models of their campuses using Google software tools.

Burken named interim ERC director

Dr. Joel Burken, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named interim director of the university’s Environmental Research Center for Emerging Contaminants. He will serve in the interim capacity during the search for a permanent replacement. His appointment began July 1.

Rolla Town Band begins summer concerts July 3
