First-day enrollment sees bump in new students at Missouri S&T
Missouri University of Science and Technology welcomed 7,037 students on its first day of classes yesterday (Monday, Aug. 19). Last year’s first-day enrollment at the STEM-focused university was 7,022 students, meaning the overall enrollment from year-to-year remains steady.

Missouri S&T has been named to Phi Theta Kappa’s 2024 Transfer Honor Roll. The list identifies colleges and universities that recognize the needs of and properly supports students who are transferring from community colleges to bachelor’s degree-granting institutions.

Dr. Robin Gore, vice president for student affairs at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania, will join Missouri S&T on Monday, July 22. The new position will integrate S&T’s undergraduate education and student affairs programs.

Missouri S&T’s first graduating class in 1874 consisted of three students. This May, Missouri S&T celebrated with over 1,100 students in the Class of 2024 at three ceremonies.
