Missouri University of Science and Technology’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will present a choir concert this November.
The performance will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, in the Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main Street on the Missouri S&T campus. The choir is directed by Lorie Francis, teaching professor of music at Missouri S&T.
“The S&T Choir has a fun program planned of songs from stage and screen, including selections from “The Wizard of Oz,” “Pippin,” Disney movies and more,” says Francis. “Several students will be featured as soloists on a number of these tunes. We are fortunate to have Jo Walter joining us on piano and John Francis on ukelele. If you are a fan of musicals, movie musicals, or just want to hear some fun choral music, join us in Leach Theater!”
