Working professionals in St. Louis will now have a new pathway to earn a master’s degree in engineering management at Missouri S&T with a new hybrid program starting in January 2026.

“Our innovative St. Louis program offerings combine the flexibility of online learning with the engagement and networking opportunities of face-to-face instruction without the need for students to pause their careers,” says Dr. David Enke, associate dean of Kummer College.

Designed for early-career engineers and technical professionals, the program combines one in-person weekly class with online coursework.

Classes take place at S&T’s St. Louis location at 2127 Innerbelt Business Center Drive.

“Most engineers and people working in technical fields will be managing teams and projects, often sooner than expected. Those who have leadership and project management skills are likely to be better positioned for success and advancement in their careers,” says Dr. Jim Sterling, vice provost and founding dean of Kummer College.

Students can complete the master’s degree through two graduate certificates and two additional courses, allowing them to begin with a certificate and build toward the full master’s program.
