Registration is now open for several two-day bootcamp-style courses that Missouri S&T has developed for the  St. Louis area.

“Throughout St. Louis, Missouri S&T has strong industry partnerships and thousands of proud alumni, and our bootcamps are designed to enhance their skills in key areas without having to leave the city,” says Dr. David Borrok, vice provost and dean of S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing.

Missouri S&T’s St. Louis location is at 2127 Innerbelt Business Center Drive. Some of the bootcamps will cover topics related to drones, crisis management and artificial intelligence techniques

“We developed these offerings after carefully collecting data on how we could best support the needs of the St. Louis area’s workforce,” says Dr. Islam El-adaway, the college’s associate dean for academic partnerships and Hurst-McCarthy Professor of Construction Engineering and Management. “And our alumni, partners and any other working professionals who are interested are invited to register.”

Upcoming courses include:

  • Drone Mapping Part 1: May 8-9
  • Foundations of Inclusive Leadership: May 13-14
  • Data Science and Machine Learning: May 15-16
  • Leadership and Crisis Management: May 20-21
  • Natural Language Processing: May 29-30

The courses meet each day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The registration fee for each leadership course is $975, and each technical course is $1,400 per person. To learn more and register, visit stl.mst.edu and click on “Upcoming Offerings.”
