Missouri University of Science and Technology’s arts, languages and philosophy department will present their fall choir concert Sunday, Nov. 17.

The concert will begin at 2 p.m. in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets on the Missouri S&T campus. The concert will feature performances by the chamber choir and jazz choir, directed by Lorie Francis, teaching professor of music at S&T.

“Our choir program this fall is titled ‘The Elements,’” says Francis. “Pieces include ‘Orange Colored Sky,’ ‘The Wind,’ ‘Water Fountain,’ and ‘Trouble the Water,’ which will be interspersed with pieces exploring other elements such as ‘Two Little Men in a Flying Saucer’ and ‘Dies Irae’ (Day of Wrath).”

Tickets are $5 for the public and free for youth ages 18 and under and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online. Tickets can also be purchased at the Leach Theatre box office starting one hour before the performance.
